Founded in 1917 by Henry G. Mooney, George Schuck, Morris Riemer and Joseph Riemer, Mooney-General is now run exclusively by second and third generation members of the Riemer family. Gary Riemer, the current C.E.O and chairman emeritus, is Joseph's son. Representing the third generation of the family are Richard Ribakove, company president (Gary's son-in-law), and Andrea Ribakove, executive vice-president and chairman of the board (Gary's daughter).
Mooney-General Paper is located in a 64,000 square foot central distribution center in Hillside, New Jersey. Our 70 employees, including 20 outside sales representatives and two service technicians, are dedicated to providing you with the best products and service. Mooney-General's fleet of nine (9) trucks covers all of northern and central New Jersey, with outside trucking services covering delivery outside of our local market area.

Mooney-General Paper Company, now in its 94th year of business, is proud to have received official designation as a Certified Woman-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) in the State of New Jersey with the necessary credentials to help our customers meet their minority participation goals. Supplier Diversity programs strongly encourage doing business with privately-held companies owned by under-utilized enterprises when purchasing goods and services. Placing "Set-Aside" business, with small and historically disadvantaged companies opens doors that may have remained closed in the past. Most federal, state and municipal agencies have programs in force that have expanded significantly over the last several years as more women and minority-owned businesses have established themselves as significant forces in the marketplace.
Many of our customers welcome the opportunity to do business with a WBE to help fulfill their government mandated requirement. Most enterprises that do any business with government agencies, schools, and municipalities more than likely have requirements to fulfill.
